Savenda is a well established player in the local construction industry. The company has a strong experience and track record in the civil construction of roads, schools, private homes, office accommodation as well as full landscaping.

Key services include civil engineering design, reinforced concrete design, bridge design, structural steel design, composite design of steel and concrete, structural timber design, environmental impact assessment, tender evaluation and adjudication, award of contracts to contractors, construction supervision, building construction and project management.

Savenda Construction is ready to support Zambia’s growing industries across key sectors of the economy. The company is notably developing expertise in the development and construction of storage infrastructure for farmers and agriculture companies.

As agriculture remains a priority for Zambia and for SAVENDA, Savenda Construction will continue to grow its portfolio of construction projects to the broader agroindustry.

This project is under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock funded by the African Development Bank, the main contractor being SAVENDA Construction and SAVENDA Management Services Ltd.

The project involves the construction of one office block and 10 medium-cost houses. The houses are all 3 bedroomed with a master self-contained, with spacious living rooms, kitchen, dining space, pantry, communal bathroom and a storeroom. The project also involves external works such as access roads within the project, fencing, drainage, water articulations and electrification of the buildings.
